Should I add a battery to my solar panel system?

Each and every home is different but by adding a battery package it will allow you to store any excess energy generated during the day to use when it is more suitable for you, making your home more self-sufficient and saving further on your energy bills.

How are solar panels installed?

Scaffold is erected to your home to allow our installers access to your roof, install mounts are then fitted and attached to the rafters. The solar panels are then secured to the mounts and wired in, the inverter is installed and connected to the battery (if chosen) and the grid. Once the solar panel installation is complete the whole system is connected to the consumer unit which can be found inside your fuse box.

Do solar panels work during night?

No, if you use more electricity during the night then our battery storage solutions are the best option for your home.

Can solar panels charge a car?

Yes, you can use your solar energy to charge your car alongside powering your house.

Do I need planning permission for solar panels?

This is dependent on whether you are the owner of the house. For standard solar panel installations, planning permission is not necessary. However, if your home is a listed building or world heritage site, planning permission is required.

Is my roof suitable for solar panels?

Each and every home is different and therefore our trusted advisors will help guide you on the best design to allow maximum daylight and usage from your solar panels. The pitch of your roof should be between 20o - 50o
